Sheet C-01Comparison · AI actors
Arcads makes a video ad out of an AI actor who does not exist. MeMachine makes a video ad out of you. Both are legitimate. They are not for the same business.
Researched August 2026 · Arcads pricing is not published — see the note below
If you sell a phone case to strangers on the internet, Arcads is probably the better tool and we would rather you knew that now than after a refund request.
Arcads is an AI-actor video ad generator. You give it a script; it gives you a finished vertical ad performed by a synthetic person. As of August 2026 its own site advertises a library of over a thousand AI actors, custom AI avatars that can hold a product or demo an app, AI-assisted editing with B-roll, music, captions and transitions, per-line emotion control, translation into more than thirty languages, a shared canvas for teams, and a choice of underlying video models. Arcads names its own audience on its home page: direct-to-consumer brands, mobile app studios, marketing agencies and performance marketers.
That audience description is the whole comparison in one line. Arcads is built for people whose job is to run many creative tests quickly against an audience that will never meet them. It is very good at that job.
MeMachine is not a creative generator. It is one guided system for a local service business: a real twenty-minute conversation that pulls your story out of you, a read of the Meta ads actually running in your market and niche, six scripts in your own words aimed at the gap nobody in your market is filling, guided filming on your own phone with a teleprompter and framing help, an automatic rough cut with cutaways and captions, publication into your own Meta ad account, and the bookings landing on your calendar.
The ad is not the product. The chain is the product.
they can fake a face. they cannot fake yours.

| Price | No public pricing page as of August 2026. Third-party reporting from mid-2026 describes roughly $110/mo for ten videos and $220/mo for twenty, with a custom tier above | $149/mo, one plan, seven-day free trial |
Arcads figures are third-party and unverified — Arcads does not publish prices on its own site. Check before you buy. All other rows read from each product's own public description as of August 2026.
This is the strongest argument against everything on this site, so it gets said out loud. Avatar tools will build a digital twin from your own face and voice. HeyGen, for example, published plans as of August 2026 running from a free tier through Creator at $29/mo and Pro at $49/mo to Business at $149/mo, with custom digital twins available from the free tier upward. For less than we charge you can have a version of yourself that never needs a haircut, never fumbles a line and speaks thirty languages.
Two honest responses. First: a twin is your appearance reading text. It is not your delivery, not your pauses, and not the slightly awkward thing you say when you get to the part you actually care about — which, in our experience, is the take that works. Second, and more practically: those are video tools, not ads systems. No read of your local market, no publishing into your ad account, no bookings. If the twin is what you want, buy the twin. Just do not buy it expecting the rest of the loop.
We have not found a credible head-to-head study proving that a real owner's face outperforms a well-made AI actor on cost per lead, and we are not going to invent one. What we will say is narrower and, we think, harder to dispute: when a homeowner is choosing who to let into their house, the ad that shows the person who will actually knock on the door is doing a different job than an ad that shows a stranger who does not exist. That is a trust argument, not a performance stat, and we would rather make the honest one.
Seven days free. Card up front, cancel before day seven and nothing is charged. The first twenty minutes are a conversation — you will know very quickly whether this is your kind of thing.
